Harvard Square

Make yahself feel smaht and go pahk ya cah down at Hahvahd Yahd! Harvard Square offers lots to see and do, but our five favorites are:

Harvard: All kidding aside, do check out Harvard's campus (including the yard), which is lovely. Bonus points for locating Seth's office at the Science Center, which is right next to the grand Memorial Hall.

Globe Corner Books: We have spent hours dreaming in this store. Whether you're planning a trip or just really like maps, this is a wonderful place to get lost!

Black Ink: Weird, but decidedly useful and beautifully designed items are displayed floor to ceiling in this funky store. Did you know that you needed a 50 year calendar or a jumbo jack? Probably not.

Tanjore: One of Seth's favorite lunches is the buffet at this Indian restaurant. He swears you'll get special treatment if you drop his name.

Charlie's Kitchen: Just in case Indian isn't your cup of tea, we also love this institution. Seth recommends the Double Lobster Roll Special.

To get to Harvard Square from the Hotel Marlowe, take the Red Line from Kendall or the 69 Bus from Lechmere.
